  • Tuesday Painting and Drawing Class (Spring Term)

    Jan 14th-March 25th / 10.30am-12.30pm

    A sociable, relaxed and informal group class suitable for improvers and artists looking for a weekly boost of creativity and to further develop their painting and drawing confidence, style and expression. Maximum class size of 8. Covering traditional painting and drawing materials and techniques. Subjects are varied and based around students interests and growth.

  • Beginners Tuesday Painting and Drawing Class (Spring Term)

    Jan 14th-March 25th / Tues 1-3pm

    Aimed a building expression, skills and confidence for beginners, and those who may be nervous or are returning to art as a hobby after a long break. A sociable, relaxed and informal group class with a maximum class size of 8.

    Subjects vary and include form, colour, line, texture and tone and encourage expressive line and mark making as well as improving traditional observational drawing and painting skills.

  • Drawing Sessions with Optional Tuition

    Dates: 1st Feb’25 / 5th April’25 / 5th July’25 / 4th Oct’25

    Ayres House Studios opens the ‘Life Room’ providing optional tuition, a model, easels and boards on select dates throughout the year. Suitable for students and those wanting to experence life drawing with tutor support as well as experienced artists who may like to work without assistance. There will be a mix of different models and long and short poses with and without props.

  • Basic Teaching Skills for Arts and Crafts Workshops

    20th & 27th September

    A 2 day group workshop designed for Artists and Makers who want to gain confidence and knowledge in how to run workshops, support learners and share effectivly.

    Courses from 3 days - 3 weeks, held on a variety of art and professional development topics. Run from or Wallingford Studio or external venues throughout Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire.

  • Tailored Workshops

    Half Day or One Day Workshops written and delivered specifically for your buisiness, event, venue or demographic.

  • Educational visits

    Arrange a visit during an exhibition, a tour of the studios, or a hands on workshop in the education room. Suitable for small groups of all ages.

  • Family Learning

    Hands on Family learning art and craft activities provided for all kinds of settings and events.

  • Key stage 1-4 Practitioner Support

    Proving practitioner support and CPD within schools and for home learning. Delivering creative and dynamic content supporting the curriculum, art skills and imagination.
